Abstract: The significance and development of the research relat ed to numerical simulation of hypervelocity space debris impact is elucidated. Then, the research content, the technical target and the exactly implemental approach of the numerical simulation in hypervelocity space debris impact are discussed. They provide technical basis and instructive principles for further development.
