摘要： 应用我国1985年10月发射的国土资源调查卫星资料研究河北省潘家口水库及其邻近地区的地质构造特征。结合近年来这一地区的地震活动、地壳应力实测资料,应用“密度平衡椭球体理论”探讨水库诱发地震问题。从而指出该区将可能发生不大于5级的地震,并提请有关部门重视这一问题。

Abstract: Using the images of Chineses Land Resource Satellite laune- ched in October 1985,together with data of earthquakes and earth-stress measurement,we'd studied the structural features of PAN JIAKOU reser- voir and its neighbouring areas,HEBEI Province.“The theory of density equilibrium ellipsoid”was also used to probe into the problem of induced seismicity in reseroir.The results of this study indicated that there might be earthquake less than 5 degree on Richter scale.Responsible Depatment must pay attention to it.
