Abstract: Tests of some space materials on resistivity against atomicoxygen were carried out by using our radio frenquency oxygen plasmareactor. These materials involves aluminized kapton, polytetrafluoroethylene, polyester film,polyimide,silastic,carbon/epoxy composite, kevlar,as well asAg,Cu,Al foid and optical solar reflector.Mass loss rate, surfacespecific resistance, solar absorptivity(α_s)and infrared radiance(ε)afteroxygen plasma exposure were measured.Furthermore, experimental resultsand feasibility were discussed.
