About Journal

  • Chinese Space Science and Technology, sponsored by China Academy of Space Technology, is an academic and technical journal that comprehensively and systematically reflects Chinese spacecraft engineering technology. Under the guidance of Marshal Nie Rongzhen, former vice chairman of the Central Military Commission of the People's Republic of China, the first issue of this journal was published in June 1981. Marshal Nie Rongzhen inscribed for the journal, expressing his best wishes.

     

    Aim and Mission

    The aim of the journal is to disseminate scientific research achievements, explore advanced technologies, stimulate academic research, foster talent development, and serve the space industry, striving to be a top-tier domestic academic and technical journal. This journal adheres to the principle of promoting academic diversity and vigorous debate. It promotes academic democracy, and actively conducts academic discussions, making it an important venue for space science and technology personnel in China to publish research results, engage in academic exchanges, and discuss advanced technologies. The journal serves as an important window for publicizing and showcasing the academic achievements of Chinese space science and technology.

     

    Publishing Scope

    Article types include research papers, technical reports, special discussions, technological reviews and so on, widely reporting research achievements, technological innovations, academic comments and experience summaries in Chinese space science and technology, as well as academic discussion on the development strategies of the space technology in China. The publishing scope covers system and subsystem technologies of spacecraft, launch vehicle, astrodynamics, TT&C, spacecraft re-entry and return technology, space electronics, telemetry, space energy, space communication, space navigation and positioning, space environment engineering, space materials and technology, space medicine and medical engineering, integrated tests, spacecraft engineering management, space technology applications and space technology development trend, etc.

    The target readers of this journal are researchers, technicians and engineers, technology managers who are engaged in spacecraft engineering, as well as personnel in space technology application departments, professors and students of related majors in colleges and universities, and other readers who are interested in space technology.
