Abstract: Several topics were reviewed in this article. Most organic coatings are subjected to degredation by ultraviolet radiation, soc the preparation of UV-resisting polymer binder of coating provides the greatest technical challenge. the more similar to quartz structure silicone resin, the more stable to UV the sillicone binderis. It has shown that the monomethylsilicone resin OI-650G is the most stable binder. The UV-resistance propety and effectivess in protecting the polymer binder from UV by pigments are concerned with the properties of the coating deeply. So for, both potassium silicate-treated ZnO and Zn_2TiO_4 are the most suitable pigments, and the coatings with low α_s/ε_n made from each of that two pigments with silicone resin OI-650G respectively are the satisfiable exterior organic temperature control coatings for the satellite.
