Abstract: In this article,a briefhistory of satellite communication deve-loped by China is reviewed.The present situation and effects of chinese satel-lite communication are particulaty described.On the basis ot investigation ofdomestic market,the satellite communication transponders quantity needed bydomestic users in 1988—2001 is predicted.
