Abstract: The principle and design method of a field effect transistor (FET) mixer are introduced. A single ended FET mixer is fabricated.The mixer operates in frenquency range 14.0～14.5/11.7～12.2GHz with-0.36dB conversion loss,5.6mW local oscillator power,less than 0.8dB loss varia- tion in 500MHz band and 14.2dB noise figure.
