Abstract: Change patterns of skin temperature and heat flow in the head- neck region under the conditions of different ambient temperature have been observed and obtained.On the basis of experimental results,suggestion of amendment is given on the data about the heat dispersal calculated from original formulas.The paper provides a physiological basis for the engine- ering design of cooling devices in the head-neck region of a space suit.
