VSAT SATELLITE DATA COLLECTION SYSTEM AND ITS APPLICATION FOR WATER CONSERVANCY PROJECT

Abstract

Abstract: VSAT communication system developed in early 1980's is a flexible and convenient communication system.This paper presents the composition and major technical characteristics of a VSAT satellite data collection system and the method for the computation of satellite link parameters.The application of this system in a domestic automatic water conservancy project for the first time is also described.
