FROM SOUNDING-7 METEOROLOGICAL ROCKET TO VEGA-3 HIGH ALTITUDE RESEARCH ROCKET——REVIEW THE PAST THIRTY YEARS SINCE THE FIRST SUCCESSFUL LAUNCH OF SOUNDING-7 ROCKET

Abstract

Abstract: Sounding-7 meteorological rocket,the first chinese practicalsounding rocket,was launched successfully on 13.September 1960.This eventraised the curtain on chinese rocket sounding activities.The chinese rocketsounding cause has gained obvious progress in the past thirty years.Seventeenkinds of sounding rockets were launched.A kind of new rocket,vega-3high altitude research rocket,will launched in the near furture.This paperreviews briefly the history in following four aspects:rocket meteorologicalexploration,rocket biological investigation,rocket atmospherical sampling,rocket special experiment for space science and technology.
