Abstract: There are two failure modes for spin satellite rate control system, the rotation speed too low or too high. For prevention of the rate unlimited in creasing, the latch circuit for thrusters in tangent direction and the application of the reverse thrusters are recommended in [1]. Based on the qualitative analysis results of multi-state non-coherent fault tree for spin satellite rate control system, an improvement is suggested in this paper.
