Abstract: This paper describes the present and development of meteorological Satellites. This paper summarizes the developping direction in remote sensors, data collection, data dissemination, orbit and attitude, and comprehen-sive utilization. The U. S. A-NOAA polar orbit satellite will use the Advanced Microwave sounding Unit to do vertical sounding. The U.S.A geostationary meteorological satellite GOES-NEXT will use the sensors similar to the AVHRR and HIRS now using in NOAA satellites. Author emphosises that the three-axials attitude stabilization is the developping direction in geostationary meterological satellite.
