Abstract: With the application of synthetic analysis of multi-variable,this paper focuses the RS(Remote Sensing)research on information source ofmapping,study object,and geoscience analysis.And,the author gives a trystudy on thematic mapping with the help of geoscientific investigation andprinciples of geography and biology,which is in the author's opinion,theessential part for improving the quality and precision of cartography.In addi-tion,this paper introduces the application of geographic parameters to RScomputer-assisted thematic cartography,which is may be the bottleneck ofimproving the precision of classification and mapping assisted by computer.In the last part of this paper,the structure of mapping system and its pro-cessing flow are discussed.
