Abstract: Thermal induced vibration of a deployable antenna was analyzed by the non-coupling dynamics and finite element method. Thermal dynamic forces was simulated by a half sine wave thermal shock. Typical model node displacement and stress, as well as root mean square of antenna induced by thermal dynamic forces were discussed. The results show that thermal induced vibration of antenna occurs when thermal dynamic forces greatly change. Meanwhile, the dynamic response of thermal induced vibration is significantly greater than that of the static response.
