Abstract: The power supply of travelling wave tube amplifier for improved communication satellite DHF-2 (A) is described.The function, design methods and test results of a two-winding storage inductor are introduced in detail. The effects of remained gas and minute particles of vaporized material on TWTA, and the way to avoid them are discussed.
