Abstract: It is necessary to use the inclination function F_(imp)(i)when calcu- lating the orbit perturbation caused by spherical harmonics of the geopotential field.If one calculates the values of the functions directly using its analytical expression,enormous computating effort will be paid.In this note a set of recur- rent formulas is derived.By using these formulas one can simplify the calculation and save computation time greatly,
