Abstract: The truncation error ot the computation formula of solar absorp-tance,used in engineering,has been analyzed and discussed in detail.Thetormulae of truncation error have been derived mathematically.And the compu-tation example has been given.The results obtained are of reference value tothe measurement of the optical and thermal performances of satellite thermal—control coatings and solar selective coatings.
