Study on moment dumpling of electric propulsion satellite

Abstract: Moment dumpling of electric propulsion satellite can be established by pointing the thrust vectors slightly away from the center of mass. On the basis of this method, electric propulsion moment dumpling for both normal mode and failure mode was investigated. The analytic solution of optimal dumpling directions was given,and the question that whether the control arc should be considered was discussed. The simulation results show that proposed method can effectively perform the moment dumpling by electric thrusters.
