Abstract: The structure of KM6 vacuum chamber, the design of the rotary door and some engineering treatments for the important structure are presented in this paper. The finite element calculation and the result of the calculation for the reinforcement of large opening and the stiffness of the chamber are introduced. It is proved that the designs are reasonable.
