Abstract: The Command and Data Acquisition Station (CDAS) of the meteorological satellite FY2 is a first Chinese advanced comprehensive station.It integrates remote sensing image receiving and real time processing,broadcasting cloud pictures of different type,data communications,tracking,telemetry and command,trilateration ranging and satellite attitude determination.This paper describes its tasks.constructions and functions.The system block diagram and main specifications of the system and subsystems are given.The overall situation of design and development process are also analysed. 
