MINIMUM-FUEL LOW-THRUST MULTIPLE-BURN APOGEE MANEUVER FOR THE GEOSTATIONARY SATELLITE

Abstract: In the case of low thrust apogee boost for the geostationary satellite,the gravity loss increases due to the long burn arc. Based on the maximum principle,the optimal multiple-burn strategy is studied in this paper. Finally, the results of optimal thrust direction and optimal intermediate orbits are obtained and discussed.
