Abstract: An analysis of a thin wraparound microstrip antenna ispresented.Based on the cavity model and the equivalence principle,for-mulas are obtained for the far-zone electric field by considering theequivalent magnetic current radiating in the presence of a cylindricalsurface.For small values of the relative permittivity ε_(?),the radiationpatterns for TM_(01),mode are in agreement with those of [3].Finally,graphical,results are given to illustrate the effects of curvature on theradiation patterns.
