Abstract: In this paper,the radiation field of the general bent micro-strip line element including six right angle bends has been analysed indetail by using the method of equivalent magnetic current.It has beendeduced from this that the designed conditions of element size whichradiate all kinds of polarized wave.The couples between elements andthose between linear arrays have been studied in experiment while theplane array is desinged.The minimum affects of input impedance has beenset for the standard of elimination of couples between elements andbetween linear arrays.The test results of right circular polarized planearrays show that the characteristics of standing wave in 500MHz passed-band are well,the characteristics of directivity and gain coincide withthe theoretical values very well.Finally,some designing formulae andcomputer programs are presented in appendix.
