ESTIMATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS WITH INVERSE GAUSSIAN DISTRIBUTION

Abstract

Abstract: In this paper,environmental factor estimation for the inverse Gaussian distribution with two parameters is studied and two definitions of environmental factors with inverse Gaussian distribution are proposed.Based on the above definition,the Bayesian confidence limits of the inverse Gaus- sian environmental factor are also given respectively using non-informa- tive reference prior distribution as well as the natural conjugate prior dis- tribution.An application of these results is provided.
