Nonlinear Control Without Velocity Measurement for Satellite Formation Flying

Abstract: Based on the nonlinear model, the problem of control f or satellite formation flying is investigated. First the exact nonlinear dynamics equations of relative motion is derived. Then the control law without velocity measurement is designed based on a filter and the closed loop system is proven t o be globally asymptotically stable. At last, numerical simulation results are presented to illustrate the theoretical analysis.
