Abstract: Receiverautonomousintegritymonitoring(RAIM)algorithmisalreadymatureintheory.ButastoBeiDounavigationsatellitesystem(BDS),thereisrareanalysisabouttheperformanceofRAIMwiththeobserveddata.AccordingtotheconstellationstatusofBDSsystemandtheperformanceofopenservice,basedontherequirementofnonprecisionapproachincivilaviationfield,thesimulationandresearchonRAIMwerepresented.Firstly,theavailabilityofRAIMinAsiaPacificwascalculated.Then,thefunctionandcapabilityoffailuredetectionandidentificationwiththeobserveddatafromNovAtelreceiverwereanalyzedindifferentscenesandfaulttypes.Thesimulationresultsshowthattheaverageofvisiblesatelliteismorethan7,andtheHPLvaluesarelessthan500meters.Furthermore,themeasuredresearchshowsthattheRAIMcandetecttheanomalypseudorange.Thatistosay,BDSsystemmettheneedsoftheRAIM.TheconclusionisthattheBDSissuitableforRAIM,andcanprovidetherequirednavigationperformance(RNP)fornonprecisionapproach(NPA)inthecivilaviationfield.
