Abstract: Asanewmicrowaveremotesensingmode,avideoSARcanprovideacontinuoussurveillanceoveraregionofinterest.ResearchesaboutspacebornevideoSARwerelimited.MostofcurrentresearchesaboutvideoSARonlyfocusonaircraftplatform.AspacebornevideoSARsystemwasdevelopedwiththetransmitterongeostationarysatellitesandthereceiveronthelowearthorbit(LEO)satellites.Therelationshipbetweentheimagingperformanceandthemainsystemparametershasbeenstudied.Thenanimageformationalgorithmwaspresented,whichcouldsatisfytheimagingqualityofvideoSARinhighsquintmodeandavoidunnecessaryduplicationofprocessing.TheDopplersmearandoffsetofthemovingtargetswerereflectedbytheprocessedimages.Meanwhile,thestationarytargetscanbefinelyfocusedon.
