Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to study the information-preserving compression coding of SPOT remote-sensing image.We come to the conclu- sion.For the compression coding of information-preserving of SPOT remo- te-sensing image,the compression ratio is larger than 2 when combining the three-point predictor and the A_3 linear code under the condition of that the ration of information-preserving is more than 99%.
