Abstract: Amissionwindowsearchapproachwasproposedforthelowthrustmissionbasedonthemultiimpulseenergyestimation.Themultiimpulsetransfer,whichcanbeextendedrapidlyfromtheLambert′sbiimpulsesolutionwithinseveraliterations,wasemployedtoeffectivelysubstituteforalowthrusttrajectorydesign.Throughgridsearchofmultiimpulsetransfers,thefeasibleregionsofthemissionwindowwereobtained.Numericalresultsshowthat:1)theapproachissuitableforbothrendezvousandflybymissions;2)itsconsistencywithlowthrusttransferinenergyconsumptionisbetterthanthebiimpulsestrategy;3)itscomputationaltimeis1~2ordersofmagnitudelowerthanthatofSimsandFlanagan′sapproach.ItsapplicationtoanEarthMarsrendezvousmissionverifieditsvalidity.Thefeasibleregionsweregeneratedwithin8.59s,whichcanbereadilyusedtogenerateoptimallowthrusttrajectories.
