Abstract: Owingtoitslightweight,highprecisionandhighstiffness,theperimetertrussantennaisthecurrentstateofartofthelargedeployableantenna.Theantennaprecisionisbecomingmoreandmorecriticalwiththeadvancementoftheinspaceapplications.Firstly,thecompositionandfundamentaltorealizethehighprecisionperimetertrussantennawasintroduced.Basedontherealengineeringrealization,considerationsofachievingthehighprecision,designanalysismethod,onorbitthermaldeformationwasdiscussedindetail.Secondly,themethodologyoftwomeshtensionsymmetrylayoutandellipseperimetertrussforimprovingantennaprecisionwasproposed.Symmetrylayoutcangetgoodstressdistributionandsystemstiffness.Sothermalenvironmentcan′tchangethesurfacecoordinationevidently.Ellipseperimetertrusscanrealizeallnodeontherigidpoint,onthesametime,ellipsestructureismorestablethanthecyclestructure.Therearetwointersectionstylesbetweentheellipseandcyclestructures,suchasinclinationanduprightnessintersection,andinclinationstylecanrotateangelarbitrarilysothatsomediversenodeassignmentcombinationcanbeselected.
