Abstract

Abstract: BasedontheGEOsatellites,anespecialIGSOconstellationwaspresentedfortheglobaltelecommunicationconstellation.Toreducethecomplexityandthecostofthesatellitedevelopment,thecontrolmodewhichtheGEOsatelliteadoptedtocontrolthesolararrays′pointingwasusedinthisIGSOconstellation.SimulationresultsshowthatthiskindofIGSOconstellationnotonlycanrealizemonooverlayorpolaroverlay,butalsocanachieve95%oftheglobaltelecommunicationoverlaybyonly3IGSOsatellitesassociatedwith3GEOsatellites.
