Abstract: Thetraditionalanglemeasurementmethodsofmicrowaveradararedifficulttosatisfyaccuracyrequirementsundertherendezvousanddockingnearfieldconditions.Toachievethehighprecisionanglemeasuringinawiderangeincludingnearfieldaswellasfarfield,anewalgorithmbasedonphasedifferencecomplexvectormatchingwasproposed.Firstly,anobjectfunctionwasdefinedtoquantifythesimilarityofthephasedifferencecomplexvector.Secondly,anonlinearprogrammingmodelwasestablishedtoestimatetheazimuthandelevationanglesandthesolvingstepsofthemodelweredescribedindetail.Finally,theresultsofnumericalsimulation,airborneflighttestandanechoicchamberexperimentprovetheeffectivenessofthealgorithmwithahighprecisionof0.12°.
