Abstract: Animproveddirectcouplingmatrixsynthesistechniquewaspresentedbasedonthetheoryofnonresonatingnodes.Bytreatingnonresonatingnodesasresonatingnodes,thecouplingmatrixwasobtainedusingthecanonicalsynthesis.Thensimilartransformwasconductedto  thematrixsothattheelementscorrespondingtothelocationofnonresonatingnodescontainnoinformationontransmissionzeros.〖JP2〗Andproportionaltransformwasconductedtotherowsandcolumnsoftheelements,sothefilternetworkincludednonresonatingnodesagain.Thenthematrixwhichmaybeusedtodesignthefilterswithnonresonatingnodeswasobtained.Themethodsimplifiesthesynthesis,reconfigurationandsimulationoffilterswithnonresonatingnodes.SimulationresultsinMATLABandHFSSprovethesynthesistechniquereasonableandfeasible.
