Abstract: iththehighdemandforpointingaccuracyofthesatelliteantenna,thejointclearanceisinevitableduetotheexistenceofthekinematicpairinthetwoaxispositionmechanism.Soitisparticularlyimportanttostudytheinfluenceofthejointclearancetosatelliteantennamechanism.Thetwoaxispositionmechanismwastakenasresearchobject,thecontact dynamicsmodeloftheclearancejointwasestablishedbyapplyingthenonlinearspringdampmodel,andthefrictioneffectwasconsideredbyapplyingtheCoulombfrictionmodel.Thelawthatthedynamiccharacteristicoftwoaxisposition mechanismaffectedbythefactorswasanalyzedbythedynamicsimulationofthevirtualprototype,suchasthesizeofthejointclearanceandthedrivingtorqueintheclearance.Theresultsshowthatlargejointclearanceanddrivingtorquewillreducethepositioningaccuracyandmakethesystemunstable.Itisagoodwaytoincreasethepositioningaccuracythroughoptimizingthestructureofthesatelliteantennamechanism.
