The damage processes of the unnotched and notched compo-site laminates with different matrices and different stacking sequences undertensile loading and tension-compression fatigue loading have been investigatedby using penetrant enhanced x-ray radiography and ultrasonic C-scanningtechnique.The influence of the matrix performance and the stacking sequenceon the damage in the laminates is described in this paper.

In order to investigate the effects of micro-gravity on InSbcrystal growth,remelting ang regrowth of InSb crystal were carried out inspace.The experimental results unambiguously prove that high quality crystalcan be obtained under micro gravity condition and demonstrate the feasibilityof InSb crystal growth by using remaining heat on other side in multipurposefurnace.

According to selected ground control points,an optimal trian-gular net is automatically constructed.Then,a system of coefficients thattransforms triangular elements are calculated.For avoiding the possiblefailure of this calculation,some long edges of the triangles are repartitioned.Determiuant decision condition and dynamic Searching Sequence are used,sothat the geometry distortion correction is speeded up and arithmatical over-flow is avoided.In addition,a treatment for the boundary is prsented.

In this paper,the origins of the physical effect of microgra-vity that occu in fluids are described and the physical effect of microgra-vity is divided into two kinds—the first grade effect and the second gradeeffect by the mentioned ideas.We have made a relationship between spaceprocessing of various materials and the second grade physical effect ofmicrogravity,and also made and estimation for the microgravity level,onwhich various physical effect of microgravity would occur,respectively.

Based upon the formulae of elevation and azimuth angles forGround-station with its given altitude and the difference between its longi-tude and satellite longitude,the variation behaviors of altitude and of diffe-rence between longitudes have beed analyzed,and the Nomograms for eleva-tion and basic-value of azimuth are produced.These Nomograms may be uti-lized both in North-and in South-hemispheres,As compared with the calcu-lated values,Nomogram data ensure an accuracy of 0,1°or even higher.

This paper introduces strain distribution and determination oftorsion deformation and broken load of a M40 carbon fiber composite beamwith rectangular thin-wall under bend and torsion,The measured experi-mental data are stable.It shows that the manufacture craft of structure isreliable and satisfies the requirement of strength and stiffness of theproducts.This structure has been used in practice and the results are satis-factory.
