This paper discusses development, methods and features of rescue from a manned spacecraft during orbiting phase, compares their advantages and disadvantages among the various rescue methods, and points out that the method of direct rescue by berthing an rescue module at space station is the optimum one for escaping from space station.

Expressions for the linearly and circularly-polarized components of radiation field by the oblique Hertz dipole over a conducting sphere are given and calculated, and the patterns of these components in typical section planes are shown. The radiation characteristics for linear antennas on a spherical-shape satellite may further be analyzed.

Starting with the sommerfeld's integral representation for RF field of a elementary current, the formula for calculating radiation properties of horizontal wire antennas in or near partially ablated stratified dielectric structures are presented. The calculation results of some practical examples are given and discussed.

In this paper, a new digital picture representation——EQT representaion is proposed. EQT stands for Extended Quadtree. In the view of data compression it emphasizes the properties among pictures. In the view of PDB, it stores the pictures with redundancy control. For the four experimental binary pictures, the storage requirement is only about 39 percent of that of QT representation. By the way, it is worth saying that such a structure can be used for dynamic tracking.

The paper discusses the thermal network analysis in thermal design of the spacecraft, dealing with the calculation of temperature field of first communication satellite of China, and gives the steady-state temperature of 250 nodes which are corrected. The computing results are compared with the data measured in ground simulation and the data telemetered from orbiting satellite. The results of comparison indicate that the computing deviations are mostly within 2~8℃. In addition, the author proposes few on the further thermal design.

The analytical formulas for calculating satellite orbit perturbation, which is caused by zonal spherical harmonics in the earth's gravitational field, are given in this paper. The number of the term of harmonics can be chosen as needed. The formulas are valid for orbits with any eccentricities.

To improve the performance of the electronic devices. The designed logic circuit should be reliable. In design for digital logic circuts. Usually, only the stable logic relationship between inputs and outputs is considered. But the designed circuit may create glitches and persist indefinitly sometimes. Because the designer held transient characterstic out of no account. In this perpa practical method of descriminating glitches is proposed. This method which is called tendency value table is applied to some seguential logic circuits. Some discussed examples show that the tedency value method can discriminate glitches before the circuit is complete, so that that designed circuit is perfect.
