MECHANISM TEST AND PREDICTION OF EFFECTS OF SINGLE EVENT ON SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE
Meng Qingru Zhao Dapeng Bao Bairong (Beijing Institute of Satellite Environment Engineering)
    1993, 13 (04):  .
    Abstract ( 1988 )   Save
The space highly-energetic-particle environment and themechanism, test and prediction of the effects induced by a single particleare introduced. The space particle environment is composed of galactic co-smic rays, solar flares and geomagnetically-trapped particles.Energeticparticles penetrating into semiconductor devices can cause single eventphenomena including SEU,SEL and SEB The available test facilities include Cali fornium-252,Van de Graff accelerator and cyclotron.Peter-son's experimental formula or program CREME can be used to predictthe error rate under a certain environmental condition.

Pan Zengfu (Beijing Institute of Spacecraft Systems Engineering) Ma Shiming (Beijing Institute of Satellite Information Engineering)
    1993, 13 (04):  .
    Abstract ( 1673 )   Save
The article attempts to apply an optimization technique tothermal design of satellite engineering, and suggests a method to optimizethe thermal design.Utilizing this method and taking a model with 14 nodesas an example, the paper has obtained a satisfactory result with Hooke-Jeeves direct searching optimization method.A primary computer programcan be used as a base to design the thermal control conception of asatellite.

Guo Wenjia Li Zhengjun Sun Leihong (Xi'an Institute of Space Radio Technology)
    1993, 13 (04):  .
    Abstract ( 2530 )   Save
An analysis of waveguide branch-line directional coupler, whieh is used on spacecraft,is given in this paper using network theoryand mode match method.By taking into account of the high order mode coupling, the calculationresult is very coincident with the test data of an experimental sample.Therefor the method given here provides a powerful tool for the design ofwaveguide branch-line directional coupler, and can be directly used for de-velopment of the BFN of Ku band shaped beam antenna system of communi-cation satellite and for the areas where the waveguide coupler with dif-ferent couple coefficient such as various waveguide beamforming networkis used。

METHODS FOR RAPID RISK ANALYSIS OF SPACE SYSTEM
Zhu Yilin (Chinese Academy of Space Technology,Beijing)
    1993, 13 (04):  .
    Abstract ( 1580 )   Save
Risk analysis is one of the important items of feasibility stu-dy,concept research and project review on a space system with high risk.Considering the complexity involved in the application of the syntheticanalysis methods, such as GERT,VERT,RISNET and SLAM,the paperpresents three rapid and convenient risk analysis methods,e.g.IsoriskContour Method,Risk Parameter Method and Probability Event Analysiswhich are suitable to the engineers and technicians, especially the mana-gers,for easy using.

EFFECT OF THRESHOLD TEMPERATURE AND CRITICAL ENERGY FOR SPACECRAFT CHARGING
Wu Qingsong Xu Yanhou (University of Science and Technology of China,Hefei) Wang Boyi (Institute of Mechanics,Academia Sinica,Beijing)
    1993, 13 (04):  .
    Abstract ( 1595 )   Save
In this paper, the yields of secondary electrons(true secon-dary emission and backscattering)for the incident electrons at differentenergy levels are determined by using weighted average, and the thresholdtemperature T* and critical energy E* of spacecraft materials in high-voltage charging are calculated with these results. The characteristics of cri-tical charging are in good agreement with the observed data.It is expoun-ded that the complicated properties of spacecraft charging are truly qua-litatively explained by using the two concepts of T* and E*.

Lu Yusun Li Hua Cai Cun (Lanzhou Institute of Physics)
    1993, 13 (04):  .
    Abstract ( 1690 )   Save
SB-3,which possesses high extinction, absorption and emissionabilities,is a black organic painting of controlling thermal balance of asatellite. In order to increase its conductivity and prevent from the cha-rge accumulation on satellite surface, some conductive agents are addedinto the painting,It is necessary that the useful painting in spacetechnology is observed and researched carefully. The performance and theregularity of charge on the painting sarface can be indicated by meansof evaluation. And the evaluation is also favourable for modification ofthe painting and its application to satellite.
