It is described that total mass loss(TML)、collected vo-latile condensable materials(CVCM)and water vapor regained(WVR)are three closely related indexes which reflect outgassing state of spacematerials and provide basic infomation about the tolerance of the ma-terials in space thermo-vacuum environment and the contamination onthe sensitive surface of the spacecraft caused by outgassing.ASTM(TheAmerican Society for Testing and Materials)E595-90 standard,whichis adapted to batch testing,high data reliability,quick testing rateand low cost,becomes the sole standard for screening space materialsby outgassing,and is adopted by all space organizations all over theworld.In view of this,we have formulated an equivalent standard ofthe Ministry of Space Industry QJ 1558-88,and have developed the cor-responding testing deviee,Micro-VCM,which has met allof the require-ments of the ASTM E595-90 standard and and is even better in someaspects,such as temperature control accuracy,balance sensitivity andcontrol of cross-contamination.

In the field of computer information management,data basesystem is transferring from dBASE/FoxBase to ORACLE,INGRES,INFORMIX and etc.One of the concerned problem is how the highperformance DBMS can share the data stored in dBASE/FoxBase format.In this paper,we give a general bidirectional converting method betweendBASE/FoxBase and INFORMIX,obviously,the method can be very easyto extend to other DBMS.

An analysis of a thin wraparound microstrip antenna ispresented.Based on the cavity model and the equivalence principle,for-mulas are obtained for the far-zone electric field by considering theequivalent magnetic current radiating in the presence of a cylindricalsurface.For small values of the relative permittivity ε_(?),the radiationpatterns for TM_(01),mode are in agreement with those of [3].Finally,graphical,results are given to illustrate the effects of curvature on theradiation patterns.

Tethers of a tethered satellite system are divided into manytether segments,say M-1 segments altogether,so that the tension oneach segment can be considered as a constant By using the characteristicsof the intermediate junction points,the M-point boundary value problemcan be reduced to a two-point problem,and frequencies of coupled in-plane vibrations of the system can be determined by evaluating 4thdeterminants.By the concept of the centre of motion,an accurate expres-sion for tether tension is derived and used in determining frequencies.The method can be applied to all N-body(N≥2)tethered satellite systems.

This paper presents the thermal design and thermal testingof the chinese balloon satellite.According to the characteristics of theballoon satellite,the method of passive thermal control used in thermaldesign is described.The temperatures derived from the thermal testingdata are in agreement with those from the thermal calculating data.Thetemperatures of the balloon satellites have met the design requirements.

The Paints of SRB and G86,and black anodized A1 areused on satellite surface for thermal control.Because they are directlyin contact with the plasma environment in space.So the properties ofthe charges accumulated on their surface are very important to controlthe physical effects of arcing,discharging and breakthrough.So it willbe very important to evaluate the charging performance in the combinedsimulation space environment.In this article,the evaluation resultshave been given.The results indicate how to use and modify themcorrectly.

In this paper,the radiation field of the general bent micro-strip line element including six right angle bends has been analysed indetail by using the method of equivalent magnetic current.It has beendeduced from this that the designed conditions of element size whichradiate all kinds of polarized wave.The couples between elements andthose between linear arrays have been studied in experiment while theplane array is desinged.The minimum affects of input impedance has beenset for the standard of elimination of couples between elements andbetween linear arrays.The test results of right circular polarized planearrays show that the characteristics of standing wave in 500MHz passed-band are well,the characteristics of directivity and gain coincide withthe theoretical values very well.Finally,some designing formulae andcomputer programs are presented in appendix.

According to the statistic analysis of geosynchronous space-craft abnormal events,the ESD(electricity static discharge)is one ofthe primary causes,It possessed about 30%,of the total abnormal events.This paper describes the method of quantity analysis of the ESD signaland reports the charging and discharging characteristics,of a numberof spacecraft exterior surface materials included Ag-SiO_2 micromeriticglass,S-853 white paint,SB-3 darken paint,anodizing aluminum and soon.

It has been confirmed by testing that the oil backstreamingcontamination of the oil diffusion pump system formed very harmful ef- fects on tested satellite.The technological transforming,replacing the 4oil diffusion pump by 3 ZDB-1300 helium refrigerator cryopumps will beintroduced in this paper.The performance comparison of the new systemwith old system will be given.The successful using of new system in thethermal balance test for returnable satellite will be presented also.
